Our Story

So far…

For years, we’ve been visited by visions that seemed, perhaps, too good to be true.

A luxurious, sprawling bath house. A therapeutic practice combining an integrated team of powerful practitioners dedicated to trauma recovery for individuals and community. A place that is itself in need of stewardship, where we can grow the deep relationship with place we yearn for. Land that can house all this - with room to grow - as a sanctuary for body and soul, land and community, healing and spirit. A way of working that embodies, enlivens, and encourages the massive transitions our society is undertaking, with grace and courage.

Our journey has been touched with magic and synchronicity from the very beginning. From the generosity and support with which the farmhouse and property came to us, to the healers and artists and craftspeople eager to participate, to the wonder of two healers meeting one another and discovering the same vision, complementary skills, and a shared passion for making the vision a reality.

2020 was a powerful year of setbacks, delays and challenges, as well as unexpected gifts and expansion. From this strange beginning during Covid year, we have been met with an amazing swell of community. Our decision to bring out and construct the yurt was a bit of a Hail Mary, and we are forever grateful to the incredible support of folks who showed up, during pandemic, to work together with a circle of strangers to erect a a magical space where we could begin doing healing work right away. That in itself was deeply moving - and then, the community here further rallied to crowdfund a third of the massive cost of bringing in our Ocean Float Rooms. This was the support that truly made the floats happen, and we are just beyond delighted to be able to open those floats now for our members and supporters who helped get them - and us - here.

We are also full of gratitude for the local craftsman and builders who have worked hard during these especially chaotic times, from folks showing up to haul our tractor out of the mud, to the construction of gorgeous cedar sauna and entry arch for the yurt, and all the trenching in between.

Now, as we prepare to open our doors, we are circling up our team of healers. These are folks with whom we are exploring how to truly embody our core values of trauma-informed care, a healing center that integrates and makes accessible multiple modes of care, and running a business from a deeply feminine way of being in the world.
