Relaxation
Our custom built outdoor cedar sauna is electrically heated, with the option to create steam. It maintains a temperature of about 140f, which allows for a more relaxing, longer sweat.
While we install our cold pool and shower, herbal foot baths to support an additional cycle of cooling and warming will be available soon.
Recovery
Our Clearlight Infrared sauna is low emf and complimentary for use with all appointments. Get the many health and recovery benefits of traditional sauna, using penetrating rather than heating the air around you as in a traditional sauna.
Ritual
Sauna is traditionally a space of spiritual retreat, purification, and reconnection - the kind of space so many of us need and desire. We are exploring ways to incorporate into your experience, from researching traditional sauna rituals to crafting small offerings and private ceremonies you can undertake in the solitude of our cedar sauna.
The infrared sauna is housed in the bathhouse with the Ocean Float room.
The cedar sauna is freshly built from locally milled cedar, and is entirely dreamy to be in. Our private changing area and surrounding pathways are getting their final shaping and decorating in the coming week or two. We invite you to consider your level of enthusiasm for rustic charm, and plan accordingly.
Currently both saunas are for private use only, by one individual/pod at a time.
Evidence shows that coronovirus does not survive in air or on surfaces at sauna temperatures, and scheduled use supports us performing full cleaning protocols between use. Please feel free to reach out with additional questions about our protocols.
